Paul’s message from the beginning of Romans 6 has been the death, burial and resurrection of Christ - for us – in our place. We rejoice that the death of Christ secured for us freedom from the penalty of sin. But in chapter 6, the apostle has begun to show us a “fire insurance” from eternal punishment.
